On February 1st the price of all my yarns will increase by $1 pound to cover the increase in shipping and other costs. Skeins and cones that have been prepriced will stay at that price. On my cottons; as my stock gets low I will have to reorder from the same spinning mill I used in the past. But since I do not have a plying mill in Georgia now this yarn will have to be shipped to a plying mill in NC and they will have to ship this yarn to me. Before my Georgia plying mill closed it was a short drive to the mill to pick up yarn. My Georgia mill also stored my yarn for free now I have to pay $400 a month to store yarn close to me.  With all of the 737 planes grounded the yarn I use to get from India in three days is now taking over a couple of weeks to get here. This yarn sits in France, Germany or England waiting on a plane ride to the states because I do not pay for very high cost express shipping.
